Projects
This guide covers project creation, project list behavior, and metadata integrity.
Core concepts
- A project has a name, environment, version, and last updated date.
- Environment/version badges should reflect stored project metadata.
- Creating one project should not alter metadata on existing projects.
Create a project
1. Go to Projects.
2. Select New Project.
3. Choose the intended diagram environment.
4. Save the project.
Expected result:
- New row appears with correct environment and version badges.
Validate project list correctness
For each row, verify:
- Name is correct.
- Date is shown.
- Environment badge is shown and correct.
- Version badge is shown and correct.
Migration/relabel rules
- Existing projects must keep their environment unless explicitly migrated.
- Creating a project in a new environment must not relabel older projects.
Common failures
- Badges initially appear and then disappear.
- Existing projects are relabeled to a newly created environment.
- Version badge missing on a new project.
If any failure appears, use Troubleshooting.
