Pipeline workflow
iSecureByDesign implements a four stage pipeline that takes you from a structured model, through policy-derived constraints and specifications, to confidence in generated or supplied implementation outputs. This section explains the four workflow stages in the app and how to use the tabs in each stage effectively.
Stage order
1. Model: inspect policy outcomes on the current diagram.
2. Specification: generate the architecture contract and specification artifacts derived from the model and policies.
3. Outputs: generate or supply implementation output using the specification.
4. Evaluation: validate outputs using deterministic rules and, where configured, AI-assisted evaluation prompts.
How to use this section
- Start with Model stage to verify rules and findings are correct.
- Move to Specification stage to produce reusable contract and specification artifacts.
- Continue to Outputs stage for generation or supply of implementation artefacts based on that specification.
- Finish with Evaluation stage to verify output quality and alignment against the derived constraints and evaluation logic.
